Each team to consist of a maximum of 8 players - 6 on the field and 2 substitutes
Before taking part in SoccerSixes.Org each team shall produce a list of players, on the forms provided, eligible to participate together with their dates of birth
Players must be of the appropriate age group; i.e. for a 7 year old to play in the 5-7 year old section they must not turn 8 until after 1 January
Players can only play for 1 team during SoccerSixes.Org
Matches played on Mini Soccer style pitches using Mini Soccer goals
Size 4 footballs to be used for 5-11 year olds, size 5 for 12 year olds & above
Matches will be played on a round-robin basis. Each game will last 10 minutes (possible exceptions in older age sections)
Substitutes are on a 'roll on / roll off' basis but only during a break in play & with the referees permission
Each game kicks off with the referee rolling the ball into the middle of the pitch
Goalkeepers roll the ball out under arm after a goal is scored or if the ball goes wide. Any ball adjudged to be a foul throw or intentionally kicked will result in a penalty
Goalkeepers must stay inside their area or a penalty will be awarded
Kick ins rather than throw-ins - a goal cannot be scored direct from a throw in
Corners to be kicked in
Players must stand a minimum of 3 yards from the ball when defending a free kick, corner or kick in
No sliding tackles
No offside
Players are allowed to pass back to the goalkeeper
Ball height is not restricted
Players that receive a yellow card will be sent to the sin bin for 1 minute
A 2nd yellow card or straight red card will send the player to the sin bin for 2 minutes & then substituted for the remainder of the game
The referee's decision on the field of play is final
